Purchase your PR1MACARDTM MasterCard® via one of our retail partners, online, or via our phone number 1-800-TARJETAS. When the card arrives, the activation sticker on the front of the card will give you directions on how to activate, register, and verify your card. ANY* of the following forms of identification are acceptable: Matrícula Consular, ITIN Card, IFE card, driver's license, state identification card, Social Security Number, passport/visa, or any government-issued ID for non-U.S. citizens. Once activated, your card is ready for use at millions of locations worldwide.
* If the card is purchased on the web or by phone, or if the ID was not submitted when bought in a retail store, PR1MACARDTM MasterCard® requires submission of the above identification within 45 days of the new card being issued and activated. The card will work during this 45 day grace period, but will be shut-off if identification is not submitted. The PR1MACARD eliteTM MasterCard® requires instant submission of identification upon ordering the card. The PR1MACARD libreTM MasterCard®(non-reloadable) does not require any form of identification. The PR1MACARD duoTM MasterCard® will be mailed to a primary cardholder of the PR1MACARDTM MasterCard® or PR1MACARD eliteTM MasterCard® who has already submitted identification.

- How is the PR1MACARDTM MasterCard® different from a credit card?
The PR1MACARDTM MasterCard® is a prepaid debit card. This means that only funds loaded onto your card are available to spend.
top - How can I make my free calls with my PR1MACARDTM MasterCard®?
Simply dial the number 1 800 TARJETAS (1-800-827-5382), login to enter the IVR system, select the option "Make a Free Call" and follow the instructions. For details on your allotted free calling value, please see our Terms and Conditions section under 'Telecom'.
top - When will I receive my PR1MACARDTM Prepaid MasterCard®?
Immediately upon purchase at a retail location, you will receive your PR1MACARDTM MasterCard®. You may instantly take advantage of the many features of your card, including free calling, bill pay, purchases (online and retail), cash withdrawal at ATMs, and more. If you order a card online or via phone and the card needs to be mailed, you will receive your PR1MACARDTM MasterCard® within 7 to 10 business days in the mail at the address you specified. Follow the directions in #1 above once the card arrives.
top - What do I have to do if my card is stolen or lost?
Call our Customer Service Department immediately at 1 800 TARJETAS (1-800-827-5382). The operator will guide you through the process to get a new PR1MACARDTM MasterCard®. The funds you had in the previous card will be transferred to the new card and the stolen or lost card will be blocked.
top - Can I pay at the pump for gasoline?
When purchasing gas with your PR1MACARDTM MasterCard®, it is recommended that you go inside to pay the cashier instead of selecting "Pay at the Pump." Even if your balance will cover the amount of the fuel you wish to purchase, the transaction may be declined at the pump due to varying gas station-merchant policies.
top - What is a PIN?
A PIN is your personal identification number. In an effort to prevent fraud and theft, some merchants may require a PIN to authorize purchase transactions. A PIN is also required to withdraw cash at ATM locations and Point of Sale Debit purchases (if selected).
top - What if I lose my PIN?
Call our customer service line at: 1 800 TARJETAS (1-800-827-5382) to reset your PIN.
top - Is my money safe and secure?
Yes. You can easily access your money at any ATM or retailer at any time, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. For your safety, as soon as you activate your card, please select your own secret PIN so only you have access to your funds.
top - Where is my money kept?
Your funds are held in a secure account at Palm Desert National Bank and may only be withdrawn by you by using your PR1MACARDTM from MasterCard® at retail locations or at an ATM with your PIN.
top - How can I see my card transaction history?
1. Call 1 800 TARJETAS (1-800-827-5382) and enter the required data.
2. Select the option "Debit Card Services" and then "Review Transactions".
3. Transactions will be presented in chronological order starting with the most recent movements.You can also review your transactions online at www.1800Tarjetas.com - Go to My Account and use your log-in details to view your card account online.
top - What is the minimum balance on the card? What is the maximum balance?
There is no minimum balance on the card; the maximum balance depends on the card you purchased (see below), see the Terms and Conditions for entire details.

You can reload your PR1MACARDTM MasterCard® via Payroll/Direct Deposit (download the direct deposit document here) or at one of our participating retail cash load stations (see locations here).

- Complete the Gray Western Union Prepaid Services form:
- For "Account Number" write your Pr1macard MasterCard® 16 digit card number.
- For "Pay To" write Pr1macard MasterCard®
- Hand the following to the agent:
- Completed form
- Load amount (in cash)
- Western Union fee
- The agent will process your load request and give you a receipt. Your funds will be available to you within minutes.

- Go to the prepaid section or ask a salesperson for a Green Dot MoneyPak Universal Reload Package.
- Hand the following to the cashier:

When you withdraw money at an ATM you always receive your money in the local currency and it is always exchanged at the preferred MasterCard® exchange rate.

The PR1MACARD libreTM is a non-reloadable MasterCard® that requires no customer identification to purchase. You choose the denomination from $25.00 minimum to $500.00 maximum in value. This card can be purchased at our select retail locations, via our website or via our toll-free number (1-800-TARJETAS).
This card can be used for purchases wherever MasterCard® debit cards are accepted electronically! Offers free long distance -domestic and international- calling value with every PR1MACARD libreTM card you purchase. This card does not offer ATM withdrawals.
